First Mothers' Day with My Dude & My First Harley Rally
Since Johan has come into my life, my whole world has changed, with new, awesome experiences.
I will share my "firsts" - like first Date, first Ride, first Breakfast Run, first Rally, etc, etc. Get the picture?
Read on.....
Johan has a Sportster, which we both adore. We have named the Sportster JOLI. Why Joli? JO is the 1st two letters from Johan and LI; yes you have guessed it, 1st two letters from Lila. So from now on when I mention Joli I will be referring to our Sportster. That's me, sitting on Joli above. That's the "First Time" I sat holding the handlebars of a Bike, this one being Joli. What a feeling. I definitely want to learn how to ride after this experience.
In October Johan will be replacing our Joli with a brand new Harley, a Dyna. Until then I will be taking as many photos as I can of Joli and sharing special moments on my site.
In the short space of time I have known my sweetheart, I have more memories (good ones) then in the rest of my whole life. Those memories would have never been as awesome, if we did not have Joli in our lives.
The Story Of Our First Rally
Black Rock Rally - Gonubi
My adorable fiancé Johan and I, on my first Rally to East London.
As you can see it by our attire, it was not a very warm experience, but it was very memorable and unforgettable trip. At first I thought I was going to die from frost bite, but once we stopped at the first Ultra City, where I put on more clothes to the point I looked like Oros Man, then the ride took a new meaning. I loved every moment of it.
On the way back it was not just cold but we went through torrential rain, I mean torrential. The only part of my body that was dry was from my head to my waist, thanks to the good helmet and fantastic leather Jacket that my Johan bought me that 1st time he took me on the Harley. Thanks my love for insisting on buying it for me, even though I said no. You knew better. The rest of me had more water then Niagara Falls Unfortunately we have no photos of that part of our trip; we were too cold and wet to contemplate any photos. On this part of the trip I felt terrible, as I had been feeling sorry for myself until I saw my Johan’s face. He had taken the full brunt of the rain. He has no windscreen, so he got it full on; I had him as a shield. I will never, ever complain again. Through all this I enjoyed it immensely and cannot wait for our next one
Taking a break to stretch our legs
My Johan Dude was the Captain of this group, he made sure he would stop every 100km

Love Birds
My first dance with my sweetheart. I will never forget it.
Taking a walk on the Boardwalk Ganubi Beach
My Johan giving someone directions how to get to Kidds Beach in East London. People watch the bottle on his hand; yes believe it or not it is a Grapetizer. Just teasing you babes. I am so Blessed. I always feel safe with you. Thanks my love.
The beautiful tranquil beach in front of our Hotel in Gonubi, East London.

He sure does! We have a Glide and we’ve been to a similar rally. I say it’s a great way to celebrate the great American bike manufacturer and to connect with Harley fans all across the globe.
